Databricks Belgrade and Dragan Tomić with the Pupin Fellows
Pupin Fellows visited Databricks Belgrade, learning from Advisory Board member Dragan Tomić about Serbia’s IT growth and startup opportunities.

As a part of the Pupin Fellowship program, we visited the new Belgrade development center of Databricks. We are grateful to our Advisory Board member Dragan Tomić for the warm welcome.
Our students had the opportunity to learn more about the development of the Serbian IT sector from one of its leaders, as well as the potential for further growth in the future.
One of the main goals of the Pupin Initiative is to overcome barriers so that domestic startups have easier access to American capital and easier entry into the largest market.
