George Friedman in Serbia, Ahead of the Belgrade Pupin Forum 2025
Ahead of the Pupin Forum, George Friedman met with Serbian academic, business, and tech leaders to discuss Serbia’s evolving role in a changing world.

George Friedman kicked off his visit to Belgrade, hosted by the Pupin Initiative, with a series of insightful meetings with Serbian academic, business, and tech leaders.
Ahead of the Pupin Forum, he exchanged views with the Dean of the Faculty of Political Sciences, Prof. Maja Kovačević, professors Dragan Simić and Slobodan Marković, and China relations expert Stefan Vladisavljev.
Friedman also connected with business and technology leaders — Dragan Tomić and Nemanja Petrović from Databricks — and with Stefan Lazarević, President of AmCham Serbia and NCR Voyix executive.
A dynamic start to an important dialogue on Serbia’s place in a shifting global landscape.
