Pupin Initiative in Washington and the White House
Pupin Initiative met Jeremy Long at the National Security Council, aiming to amplify Serbia’s voice in Washington and strengthen US-Balkans relations.

We concluded our visit to Washington with a discussion at the National Security Council with Jeremy Long, who heads the Balkans and Southeast Europe desk.
Our goal is for the Serbian voice to be heard in Washington at the key places where decisions are made and policies are created.
Previously, we had meetings on Capitol Hill and at the State Department where we briefed teams of senators and congressmen on the situation in the Western Balkans and the importance of Serbian-American relations for regional stability.
Our success is that we have become an indispensable interlocutor for decision-makers in Washington, but there is still much work ahead of us for Serbs to speak for themselves instead of others speaking for us.
