Jovan Udovičić was born and raised in Belgrade. He is currently a sophomore at Bucknell University in the United States, where he is pursuing a double major in Economics and Political Science. Jovan began his secondary education at the Third Belgrade Gymnasium before transferring to Oaks Christian School in California during his junior year. This move allowed him to gain international experience, perfect his English, and develop his academic and athletic potential in a highly competitive environment.
As an international student, Jovan is particularly interested in issues of economic development, equal opportunity, and the role of public policy in building stable and prosperous societies. He is also focused on the financial sector, specifically private equity, hedge funds, and investment banking. Through his studies and global perspective, he seeks to understand how capital, entrepreneurship, and strategic investment can drive long-term economic growth.
A dedicated student-athlete, Jovan competes in NCAA Division I water polo. In Serbia, he was a member of the National Youth Water Polo Team, through which he cultivated strong discipline, teamwork, and a sense of responsibility. His ultimate goal is to leverage the knowledge and professional network he is building in the U.S. to support projects that benefit the community and strengthen the ties between Serbia and its diaspora.
