Lidija Zečević

Lidija Zečević is a third-year PhD candidate at the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Law. Her research focuses on integrating legal theory, market practice, and international corporate governance standards, with particular emphasis on comparative analysis.

She is the author of several academic papers in the fields of international arbitration, corporate governance, and data protection, and the recipient of the “Gašo Knežević” Award for best paper in alternative dispute resolution. She conducted research in Japan, where she gained insight into the practice of the Institute of Corporate Governance Japan and the Tokyo Stock Exchange. She also visited leading arbitration institutions in Asia (HKIAC, SIAC, and AIAC), further developing her global research perspective.

She passed the Serbian Bar Exam with distinction. She is fluent in English and Italian and has working knowledge of Russian. Her professional focus lies in connecting academia with international institutions in order to strengthen legal certainty in the global business environment.
