Ivan Filip Kovačević

Ivan Filip Kovačević completed Master's studies in public policy at Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) with a focus on Europe, international economics, and security. While at Hopkins, he was the general manager of the campus's academic journal and a member of the School's academic committee representing students. He previously studied economics at the University of Belgrade Faculty of Economics and business at the London School of Economics and Political Science through their dual degree program. During the 77th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (2022/23), he was the Serbian Youth Delegate to the United Nations and participated in a number of UNGA meetings as well as the ECOSOC youth forum on behalf of Serbian youth. Professionally, he has experience in consulting and international relations. He also has extensive experience in youth and student organizations, including as Governance Officer in Global Shapers Belgrade and as Project Supervisor for BIMUN 2026. His research and academic interests include public policy, geoeconomics, and international security.
